New York at Second Sight
Documentary // ZDF / ARTE 1999, 45 Min. und 27 Min., Betacam SP
This 45-minute travel journal takes you, besides the known broadways and avenues in Manhattan, to the districts of Brooklyn, Harlem and Queens. In five stories we take glances at the metropolis from an entirely different angle. We talk about the artisan quarters in Williamsburg and its multi-cultural population, about the Harlem of the Jazz legends and about the summertime New York and its open-air festivals. We are given an unusual insight into an idyllic and romantic New York.
